Our mission extends to developing sophisticated solutions that tackle diverse challenges including service bookings, cross-platform communication, personalized scheduling, and ensuring trust, safety, and secure payments. Our team plays a crucial role in elevating the marketplace experience across web, iOS, and Android platforms, significantly impacting the end-to-end customer journey.Who we are looking for : Rover is in search of a dedicated and innovative mid-level User Experience Researcher to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. In this pivotal role, you will harness your expertise to provide the product teams with insightful, actionable data that will shape the future of pet care services.The role :Conduct thorough qualitative research, including contextual inquiries, diary studies, concept testing, and usability studies, in partnership with UX Design and Product teams.Enhance qualitative data with quantitative findings to develop a holistic view of user behaviors and needs.Vet, partner and lead outside agencies to conduct international localized research to support Rover's international expansion.Work directly with product managers, UX designers, and other key stakeholders to define roadmaps and establish clear learning objectives.Bring your expertise in psychology, human behavior, and user experience principles to enrich the team's knowledge and influence the broader company strategy.Spearhead research strategy, seamlessly integrating user research across product design and development processes.What we are looking for in you :At least 3 years of experience as a user researcher in a business environment, with a strong focus on generative and exploratory research.A Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Proficiency with common user experience research tools (Figma, Maze, UserTesting & survey tools).Exceptional ability to articulate insights and strategies compellingly across various audiences and organizational levels.Comfort with ambiguity and a proven ability to establish processes and structures within a growing team.Excellence in written and asynchronous communication.We would love it if you also had :Experience with marketing or research agencies.Fluency in multiple languages, especially German, Spanish, French, or Italian, is highly desirable
