Position SummaryWork in the Oncogenesis PD assay team (CITRE and US) to process patient samples, control storage of vials, and run them by flow cytometry to provide data in different clinical trials. Work under ISO 17025 normative.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide timely PD data during Phase I trials from ONC-TRC to ensure decision making for the clinical team in selecting the appropriate schedule and dose of the study compound.Process, store patient samples, and inform the clinical team about sample collection issues.Enter and update LabMatrix information for different clinical trials.Organize the stock of reagents, antibodies, and lab supplies required for proper sampling and order them when needed from suppliers.Perform maintenance of all cytometer instruments in the lab under supervision.Titrate antibodies for new FACS panels and test different lots of the same antibody to detect differences.Run patient samples by FACS and be able to detect and solve problems during acquisition. If not, report them as soon as possible to their superiors for resolution.Support the implementation of the ISO 17025 normative in CITRE Laboratory.Realize quality control tests for cytometers.Qualifications & ExperienceLaboratory Technician Certificate.At least 1 year of relevant experience in the Pharma industry oriented to PD samples processing.Hands-on experience with Flow and Spectral cytometry techniques, including calibration and compensation of different flow panels, antibodies titration, and good practices of maintenance of cytometers.Basic aseptic cell culture technique is also desirable.Ability to read and write protocols and emails in English; speaking English at B1 level is also desirable.Good computer skills (mainly Microsoft Office package and databases).High capacity for teamwork.Flexibility and adaptability to change.Autonomy.Why You Should ApplyBristol Myers Squibb recognizes the importance of balance and flexibility in our work environment.
