With full P&L responsibility, they will deliver commercial, financial and operating results for the location they are leading, aligned with the company's goals and strategies. The role will oversee a full Location Operations Team, covering all departments among which include: rooms, food and beverage, maintenance, and experience. The role will also have an active involvement in commercial, finance and human resources activities to achieve the goals set. Decisions will be made with co-approval of the Manager.PerformanceAlign the operational strategies to support the commercial goals of the locationLead the location Operations Team to ensure that the location delivers its commercial and financial operating resultsSupport with the preparation, presentation and achievement of the location's annual business plan and budgetProductStrong presence in the daily functions of all product areas of the location (Front of the House, Back of the House, F&B, Kitchen, CoWork, Experience) optimizing all opportunities and analyzing any room for improvementEnsure an in-depth understanding of the brand, the product and the standardsConduct daily rounds of the location, including: rooms, F&B, common areas, and back of the house to ensure the product is complying with the brand standards of the companyStrong understanding of all software systems used by operationsFinance & AccountingFull P&L responsibility over the location, with sound understanding of P&L statements and ability to react with impactful strategies to improve performanceReview the location's month-to-month P&L and reporting systems, understanding the fixed overheads, projected vs actual revenue and variable costsEnsure all location liabilities are managed along with the Finance DirectorEnsure all location collections are optimized along with the Commercial and Operations TeamsMaintain a strong relationship with the landlord, tenants, and vendorsNegotiate supplier rates and contractor invoicesRaise purchase orders and ensure requests are efficiently managed based on accurate operational needsEnsure consistent, efficient, and comprehensive cost control, revenue management, and financial reporting.Human ResourcesLead and support the recruitment and selection process for open positions at the locationDecision maker, alongside the manager, in the recruitment of key team membersCreate and manage the staffing plan for the location
