Senior Project Manager, Global Program Management Location, Barcelona, Spain
This is what you will do: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the strategic and operational planning and decision-making processes within Alexion's Global Program Teams (GPTs) and associated sub-teams. This role supports the Global Program Manager (GPM) in their role as the strategic partner and operational lead for the development/lifecycle of the program. The Senior Project Manager works together with the functional experts to develop a project timeline, dashboards, and status reports for senior management in a timely and effective manner, ensuring that any changes are appropriately communicated to the Global Program Manager (GPM) and Global Program Team Leads (GPTLs). The Senior Project Manager will demonstrate resourcefulness and problem-solving skills in identifying, monitoring, and helping to mitigate risks and issues such that development programs stay on track, as the successful delivery of development milestones and goals ties to the overall longevity of Alexion's pipeline and commercial infrastructure.
You will be responsible for: Leading cross-functional, global project sub-teams to deliver key milestones and activities.
Maintaining and controlling the project schedule, tracking progress made on tasks, owning scenario planning timelines for decision making, identifying activities on the critical path, and communicating the status of the project to appropriate stakeholders.
Organizing project team meetings and tracking action items to completion.
Maintaining and organizing all files related to a project (e.g., documents, reports).
