The position is remote and the workload is approx 2,000 words per month (translations and/or reviews; workload may vary).
We are the market leader in the bartending industry and our mission is to educate exceptional bartenders from all over the world.
For that, we need to be able to communicate effectively with our audience and speak to them in their own language (figuratively and literally).As part of our Linguistic Team you will be the voice of our company in your native language; with over 25 EBS Schools all around the globe and more than 70,000 graduates.Here's what you'll do:Translate documents from English into Portuguese.Proofread already translated content.Produce quality translations while respecting timeframes, project briefs and company tone of voice.Review and correct assigned Memsource and other tasks.Localise adapt the translation when necessary.Liaise with Management Team to ensure high-quality results.Job requirements:Fluent in Portuguese.Working proficiency in English.Impeccable spelling and grammar.Excellent translation and writing skills.Experience with marketing-specific content translation preferable.Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.Experience with, or knowledge of, bartending or European Bartender School is a plus.Availability to complete tasks over weekends, on occasion.Desirable: experience with computer-aided translation tools and systems.
