- PhD in Linguistics or similar level of qualification (completed prior to the start of the appointment).- Experience as a university lecturer and researcher in the area of Linguistics and/or Applied Linguistics.- English level required: C2.- A positive assessment as a Private University Lecturer / Associate Professor by a Spanish/Basque Official Quality Agency (ANECA / UNIBASQ), equivalent foreign accreditation/qualification, or commitment to obtain a positive assessment within two years.The following will also be considered an asset:- Being a native speaker of English with an area of specialization in Applied Linguistics or Language Pedagogy and a potential research development.- High impact publications as well as participation in competitive research projects are highly valued.- Experience and participation in tutorial plans, coordination of undergraduate or postgraduate programmes, and having delivered or participated in online training courses.- Spanish level C1/C2 will be highly valued.- Having knowledge of the Basque language or willingness to learn it will be considered an advantage.- We seek a qualified professional, team-oriented, with a teaching vocation, empathy, motivation for innovation, and capacity to adapt and identify with UD's identity and mission.#J-18808-Ljbffr
