Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Financial Controller to join the Finance team in Madrid, Spain.The PositionReporting to the Head of Accounting, Controlling and Compliance for EMEA, you will become part of a growing and developing team, where you will build and develop our finance setup for the investment vehicles managed by CISC. You will be responsible for establishing and delivering best-in-class finance processes for our investment vehicles, overseeing and controlling the day-to-day accounting performed by third-party service providers.Your role will consist of, but not be limited to:Responsibility for P2P process, ensuring timely approval of invoices, payments, and dealing with vendor queries.Controlling of accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, IC loans, etc.Ensuring timely submission of all tax filings, including VAT, CIT, WHT, etc.Oversee the audit process and ensure timely delivery of the required audit deliverables.Overseeing the setup of new investment structures for the EMEA region.Develop, implement, and facilitate initiatives to improve accounting processes and procedures.Main StakeholdersCISC & CIP Finance TeamsCIP Investment TeamThird-party service providersThe CandidateThe ideal candidate comes with 2-3 years of experience in financial controlling, auditing, or financial management, preferably in a project controlling environment.
