Financial Analyst Chemtech - Full Time - Madrid, Spain

Join our Division Chemtech Finance team as Financial Analyst and support the division Controller and division CFO with your financial analysis.

Your main tasks and responsibilities :

Supporting the division Controller and division CFO by delivering comprehensive and timely financial information for the purpose of business management and decision making.

Month-end closing activities incl. variance and root cause analysis (actual, budget, forecast).

Ensuring timely submission of legal entity reporting packages, alignment with Sulzer standards and accuracy of financial records.

Preparing and delivering trainings to legal entities worldwide for reporting and consolidation system matters.

Contributing to the monthly preparation of the business review presentation.

Performing various ad-hoc reporting requests to equip business with financial understanding.

Monitoring and controlling HQ Cost Centers and CAPEX spending.

Actively supporting Budgeting and Forecasting processes.

Identifying and coordinating continuous improvement initiatives for the controlling function.

Driving automation of reports (QlikSense, QlikView, Sharepoint) and finance process optimization.

To succeed in this role, you will need :

Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting, Finance or Controlling.

Min. 3 years of experience in financial analysis or controlling, preferably in corporate finance.

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.

Experience with consolidation systems.

Experience with SAP (FI / CO modules) and business application tools.

Strong analytical personality with high energy to drive for result.

Strong problem solving and ability to prioritize responsibilities, tasks and processes.

A positive, flexible and adaptive approach and a team player attitude.

Fluency in English, German is beneficial.
