The opportunity... Following our acquisition by the Volaris Group (part of Constellation Software Inc) in June 2023, there is a requirement to bolster the Finance team with the appointment of a Financial Accountant. This is a newly created role, created to ensure compliance with Volaris reporting deadlines, and to support the CFO to help deliver on the Company's ambitious plans for organic and acquired growth.


What you'll be doing... Assistance in the preparation of the Monthly Management Reporting & Analysis Templates Month and year-end close procedures Oversight of subsidiary accounts Forecasting on a monthly and quarterly basis Develop and maintain financial models. Preparation of the annual budget (Quarterly updates) Review of monthly Balance sheet reconciliations Assist with audit preparations. Assisting the sales team to draft significant commercial agreements with OEM partners, with an emphasis on reviewing revenue recognition policies and ensuring compliance with IFRS and FRS accounting standards. Review and develop systems and reporting templates for improved efficiency and added value MI. Potential for input on future acquisitions. Integrate new reporting requests from Group level as and when required Commercial analysis and input at a Senior level. To be successful in the role, you'll be...
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 2 years post qualification experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to embrace change within a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail.
