The successful candidate will be pivotal in managing and optimising the Club's financial performance. Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to the senior management team. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.Budget Management: Manage the budgeting process, including tracking expenditures, variances, and performance against budget. Provide actionable insights to improve cost efficiency and financial performance.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks. Develop robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard the Club's assets.Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning and ensure funds are available. Optimise the investment of surplus funds and manage banking relationships.Investment Oversight: Working with the Finance Director to evaluate and recommend investment opportunities and monitor and manage the performance of existing investments to ensure optimal returns.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
