Finance Data Analyst, Devices Finance, InternationalWe are seeking a Finance Data Analyst to support the International Devices Finance (IDF) Team. This role has a big focus on data, automation and use of BI tools. It is a great opportunity for someone who is data-savvy and will build advanced financial analysis, reporting and automation capabilities for the Team.
For this role, we are looking for someone with excellent analytical abilities. You will be transforming financial data into business insights by developing and publishing financial reports and planning tools. You will also support other regional Finance teams with planning models and be their go-to person for finance data. You have a passion for delivering customer-focused tools and understand the customer reporting and planning needs. You are familiar with SQL, ETL, QuickSight (or similar visualization tools), DAX and M Language. The candidate is a self-starter, a team player and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesBuild scalable reporting solutions and self-service tools that empower the team to make sound business decisions.Own the creation, publishing, inspection and improvement of current financial reports that support actuals and financial planning activities.Develop a relationship with the tech teams that own the data sets of interest.Analyze opportunities and co-develop financial models for strategies and business plans to grow the Device business.Partner with other Devices teams on opportunities to automate, standardize and streamline financial planning processes.Support other central and regional finance teams on their financial planning process, such as loading data across systems and inspecting the financials.A Day in the LifeIn this role you will:
Research with your customers about their needs and objectives.Build a financial planning tool using your DAX and M Language skills.Automate data feeds, create QuickSight dashboards and remove manual intervention.Consult, collaborate and influence stakeholders to find and obtain the data your customers need.Develop and execute data-driven ideas for innovation, automation, and efficiency.Have fun in an international, collaborative and fast-moving group.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience with Financial reports and KPIs.Experience with Financial systems such as TM1, Cognos, etc.Experience with data visualization such as QuickSight, Power BI or similar.Experience with Excel, DAX and M Language.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or other related discipline.Experience in a relevant role such as financial planning, financial reporting or business intelligence.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with data modelling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse.Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
