Job Description Summary: This newly created finance position is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a growing Global communications agency, being on the front edge of our commercial activity, providing financial support for the Client Management efforts of Havas Media Group.
Job Description: Part of the Global Finance Team and based in Madrid, the Financial Controller will focus on coordinating the financial information for one of our key global clients. Reporting into the CFO for Global Clients Department & the Global Account Director, the Financial Controller will provide support in the areas of reporting to the client, investment analysis and financial reporting.
Main Responsibilities: Being the key point of contact for the client's procurement team in all financial matters.Providing client reporting and analysis to support appropriate financial and commercial decision making.Desired Skills and Experience: Strong background in financial analysis, controlling, budgeting and reporting.Practical experience in process development and implementation.High energy, hands on, practical, hard worker.Capable of dealing with multiple deadlines and information requests at the same time.Detail-oriented, goal-line oriented, process-oriented.Grounded, approachable, able to interact at all levels of an organization (global, local, regional, business unit, client, etc.).Complete fluency in Spanish and English.A min. of 4 years' experience, preferably having min 2 yrs. at a media services and/or related industry company.Advanced user of MS Office, especially Excel.Contract Type: Permanent
