For our client, we are seeking experienced, responsible, and challenge-ready individuals for the position of Audio-Video Technician.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Install various AV and IT equipment in new studios according to the plan or diagram provided by the broadcast engineer.Assemble professional video cameras, including the lens, on-camera monitor, and power supplies.Install video cameras in the studio and connect them with SDI cables to the equipment in the server room.Ensure that all digital video signals from the camera reach the desired equipment (video switcher, recording device, monitor).Run low-voltage wiring (Video, Audio, and Network cabling) through studios and facilities, install server racks, cameras, and NVR/DVR, and handle other aspects of the technological infrastructure.Set up SDI, XLR, and ethernet cables and test the functionality of the installations.Install professional lighting and modifiers according to the lighting plan.Analyze and repair technical issues with equipment and systems.Minimize signal loss when equipment fails, quickly identify the issue, and implement alternative service delivery methods.Requirements:Intermediate knowledge of the English language.Experience with assembling/disassembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing computers/hardware.Basic knowledge of installing operating systems, Windows and Linux is necessary.Experience with installing and configuring peripheral devices (monitors, scanners, etc.).Knowledge of using basic test equipment like multimeters, and a basic understanding of AC/DC electronics is desirable.Experience with installing and soldering components on printed circuit boards.Some understanding of the work environment of a TV control room.Basic knowledge of working with video cameras and a desire to learn new technical skills.Some familiarity with audio equipment like microphones and audio mixers.Knowledge of basic photography concepts is an advantage.Our client offers:Excellent financial compensation and additional bonuses.Paid annual leave days.Opportunities for career growth and development.Initial training, as well as detailed courses and learning programs focused on professional development.The opportunity to contribute to the company's development in the Colombian market and to help shape business processes.Additional health insurance (including dental and ophthalmology check-ups).
