ABOUT THE ROLE As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll work on interesting responsibilities like:
Designing and reviewing architecture decisions, automating operations, and ensuring smooth delivery, with a keen focus on reliability, security, and compliance.
Acting as the bridge between product engineering and infrastructure to enable developers to function deterministically and deliver the best quality products.
Managing and improving sennder's highly demanding platform with state-of-the-art technologies such as containers (Kubernetes), serverless computing, Kafka, Postgres, message and event queues, AWS, Terraform, and much more.
Co-designing cloud infrastructure with a product-driven approach and implementing infrastructure as code.
Crafting operational aspects of continuous integration, continuous delivery, ongoing compliance, failure, and security attack mitigations, and performing root cause analyses.
Building internal tooling for the team as well as engineering at large to provide a uniform and coherent experience across the organization.
Designing engineering operations for smooth functioning of delivery, processes for service disruptions, and mitigation processes during cyber-attacks.
Extending observability with a focus on business enablement.
Training and teaching developers on how to use our platform and infrastructure.
Confident presentation and strong influence skills with adaptability based on the audience.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS In-depth experience with AWS and cloud-native architecture, working with Linux, and knowledge of scripting languages like BASH and Python. Continuous learning and a particular passion for technology. Experience in configuring and running production-grade services in AWS and a constant drive for improving processes and long-term thinking.
TECHNOLOGY STACK Amazon Web Services, Terraform, Kafka, CI/CD with GitLab, Python, TypeScript, Bash.
