.Responsible for the coordination and supervision of the production plan in the manufacturing equipment, preventive maintenance plans and follow-up of corrective maintenance in his shift. Follows up the flow of materials and their delivery to the production lines and shipments to customers, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and quality standards established for each product and environmental and labor requirements. It also ensures the necessary competencies and compliance with the certification process for operators.Key Responsibilities: Coordinates and supervises compliance with safety standards and use of PPE in production processes.Ensures timely execution of production plans.Verifies that preventive maintenance plans are being executed and establishes priorities for corrective maintenance interventions.Monitors the flow of materials to production lines, as well as finished product shipments to customers when required.Ensures compliance with quality guidelines for all products and customers.Oversees the operator certification process, following the established process and updating the skills matrix.Maintains updated dashboards in areas of responsibility.Oversees the operator rotation plan at designated stations.Reviews and validates the production report in a timely and reliable manner.Activates the escalation plan with the determined times and conditions.Performs documented shift handover with counterparts.Develops and implements improvement proposals, providing support for the improvement of OEE and its elements, as well as the reduction of scrap.Actively participates in decision making with multidisciplinary teams, process evaluation, and maintenance processes.Provides training to operators and maintenance technicians within their areas of action.Participates in the elaboration of product and process deviations, as well as in the evaluation and approval of permanent changes in both areas.Maintains updated metrics and indicators established by the plant.Gives support in the realization of ergonomic studies and improvements of processes and equipment.Actively participates in the continuous improvement processes established in the business strategy.Performs layer audits to their work areas or those established by the coordinator of the quality management system.Promotes and ensures compliance with internal work regulations, safety policy, quality policy, quality management system procedures, environmental policy, process maps, and work instructions in all areas within the plant.Skills: Problem solvingPrioritizationDrive for resultsAction orientedEthics and valuesAbility to motivate peopleBusiness acumenConflict managementOrganizational agilityTimely decision makingExperience: Industrial engineer or related field.10 or more years of experience in personnel management.Knowledge of problem solving tools.Leadership programs.Training in lean manufacturing.Basic quality tools.Risk Identification and Control.Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
