WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will join our Technology Delivery team within our Enterprise Technology practice, serving end-to-end technology and digital transformations for our priority clients. You can look forward to being embedded in teams consisting of other driven and curious Bain staff, working alongside other teams on process excellence, architecture, design, and software development, among others.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Mission
Support the day-to-day implementation of technology transformation projects, focusing primarily on the delivery and operationalization of strategic initiatives to achieve significant outcomes and impact.
Assume responsibility for the entire project and its final deliverables by maintaining direct engagement with clients.
Lead cross-functional teams in implementing project management strategies to achieve project objectives, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Focus on delivery assurance to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of strategic recommendations.
Drive the implementation of large scale transformation programs to ensure efficient and effective implementation of strategic recommendations that align with clients' goals and objectives.
Identify issues, create hypotheses and execute analysis; translate data into meaningful insights; present recommendations to key decision-makers.
Drive clients to action by developing comprehensive plans to implement strategic recommendations and managing their execution to achieve desired outcomes.
Essential functions
Participate in end-to-end technology and digital transformation projects, solving the most pressing needs of our clients.
Establish and implement PMO tools from inception, guiding the team through onboarding to ensure seamless project operations and efficiency.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align project management practices with organizational goals and objectives.
Drive continuous improvement of the project management process to enhance project delivery efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
Monitor and evaluate project performance against key metrics and take corrective actions as necessary.
Provide intellectual and thought leadership to the team to ensure the highest quality of analytical and conceptual output.
Identify value creation opportunities in each client situation.
Manage and ensure execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses of business processes.
Build and maintain consensus with clients on case goals, critical issues, workplan, implications, recommendations, and implementation plan.
Coordinate initiatives and oversee project management processes to ensure project delivers value according to timeline and quality standards.
ABOUT YOU
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science / Engineering, Information management or other tech-related fields.
Preferred: MBA, courses in digital/tech transformation.
Experience
8+ years of experience in consulting, a start-up or other business environment, preferably within the Tech industry.
Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating workshops to identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Experience with project management for large tech transformations.
Experience collaborating with other vendors (e.g., IBM, Accenture).
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
Proficient problem-solving skills utilizing logical reasoning and creative thinking.
Adept at bridging software and systems expertise with business leadership requirements.
Proven leadership capabilities.
Ability to prepare and present project deliverables to key decision-makers.
Experience in technology, understanding industry dynamics to inform solutions.
Familiarity with change management techniques.
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
