Job DescriptionThe Role in a Nutshell:We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our growing teams in Sweden and the UK. In this role, you will partner with regional leadership to align HR strategies with our business objectives across both countries, ensuring compliance with UK and Swedish labor laws and HR practices, while also taking an active role in day-to-day people operations tasks. You will be instrumental in driving HR initiatives, improving processes, and enhancing employee engagement.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR operations in both the UK and Sweden, with a proactive, hands-on and detail-oriented approach to delivering solutions.Role and Responsibilities:People Strategy & Culture DevelopmentLead initiatives to create an exceptional employee experience that boosts productivity, retention, and fosters a positive, inclusive company culture.Act as a culture champion, influencing the values, behaviors, and norms that drive our shared mission.Address complex employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary actions, while mediating conflicts to foster a positive workplace environment.Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management and employee development, empowering them to effectively support their teams in 1:1s or group sessions.Deliver comprehensive HR reports and provide strategic advice to empower leadership with actionable insights.Leverage data insights to enhance HR processes and drive informed decision-making, ultimately improving overall organizational effectiveness.People Operations ManagementOwn and manage the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, including payroll, benefits, and contract management.Proactively partner with the HR Center of Excellence to align and implement HR projects, policies and initiatives, driving efficiency and innovation in processes, employee engagement and policy development.Address and consult on employee queries and requests through our ticketing system, providing timely and effective resolutions that maintain high levels of employee satisfaction.Ensure employee information, including contracts, benefits, and performance reviews, is up-to-date and accurately recorded, while handling confidential data with care and compliance with data protection laws.Manage international assignments by overseeing work permit and visa applications, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and supporting smooth transitions for employees.Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional CollaborationBuild and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, department heads, and employees remotely and through quarterly visits to the regional offices to effectively drive HR initiatives and align organizational goals.Work closely with various People sub-functions to develop and implement new regional HR standards, processes, and programs that enhance organizational effectiveness.Support collaboration across departments such as Marketing, IT, and Regional Office Management to ensure seamless execution of HR initiatives and alignment with business objectives.Effectively communicate HR initiatives, policies, and procedures to all employees using diverse channels, fostering transparency and understanding throughout the organization.Legal & Compliance AdvisoryEnsure compliance with UK and Swedish labor laws, providing expert advice to regional leadership and updating policies to stay ahead of regulatory changes and protect both the business and employees.Design, implement, and continuously update employee-related policies to align with statutory requirements, conducting research to ensure accuracy and consistency across the organization.Establish relationships with external legal service providers for compliance matters, and respond to internal and external audits to ensure adherence to labor laws and HR policies.Educate employees on HR policies and legal requirements, maintaining up-to-date employee handbooks and resources to promote a clear understanding of procedures and compliance.RequirementsProfessional CharacteristicsMinimum of 3+ years of HRBP or similar experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment like consulting or professional services.Strong understanding of Swedish labor laws, good understanding of UK labor laws.Experience in managing the full employee's life cycle, from onboarding to offboarding, including terminations in compliance with labor laws.Experience in handling payroll and other hands-on HR operational tasks.Strong ability to manage and resolve conflicts, with a focus on improving employee satisfaction and engagement.Ability to advise and guide leadership on HR practices and legal compliance.Comfortable using HR data to drive decision-making and provide actionable insights to business leaders.Personal CharacteristicsSelf-starter with a hands-on approach, capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills adept at navigating cultural differences and building trusting relationships.Resilient
