Executive Development Program - Planning & Control Jamaica

We are looking for the best talent for our Hotel Division, Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts. Through the Executive Development Program of the Planning & Control (Finance) Area you will have a unique experience and will learn how the hotel business works, having the opportunity of joining us permanently.The program lasts 6 months, and you will be involved in the day to day of the Financial area of one of our main destinations: Jamaica.Your main tasks, according to the area, will be:Collaborate in the monitoring of the annual accounting cycle for your line of business.Participate in the budgeting, forecasting, and operational accounting follow-up cycle for operations.Provide support in the planning, coordination, and monitoring of the development and application of financial policies.Keep the financial risk map and regulatory framework updates current, considering your business unit and company.Participate in the planning and coordination of the monthly close, including balance sheets, production records, variance analysis and reconciliations, and their reflection in management systems (cost control, accounting, and balance sheets).Provide support in the preparation of estimates for the upcoming monthly close, including potential reconciliations, variances, and reconciliations.Monitor fixed assets and define CapEx for the recording and tracking of fixed assets and depreciations.Prepare management control information reports, as required, for all types of financial records and specific models from other institutions or organizations in collaboration with the financial teamsThe ideal profile will have:Highly desirable experience performing the functions described above.Academic background in accounting and/or auditing.Organization, commitment, results orientation and analytical skills.Highly computer literate.Highly Fluent in English and Spanish, writing and speaking.Availability to be based inJamaica.If you are also dynamic, used to working under pressure and you are looking for an exciting challenge... join us!We offer you an interesting remuneration package that includes, among other aspects:Competitive salary.Meals.Accommodation.Health insurance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
