Velvet Europe Event & Sales Manager Join Our Exciting Journey! Are you passionate about events and ready to make a difference with a growing company in Europe? Velvet Living, with over 15 years of experience in the industry, is a leading event hire company in London, specializing in hiring furniture, staging, lighting, sound, and entertainment acts. We also offer styling and comprehensive event production and management services. As we expand our operations with Velvet Europe SL in Barcelona, Spain, and the South of France, we're looking for a motivated Event & Sales Manager to join our team.
About the Role In this exciting position, you'll work closely with our CEO and the London team to help run our day-to-day operations. You'll respond to client inquiries, prepare quotes, and build relationships with clients and local partners as we grow our presence in the region. If you're fluent in Spanish and English (French is a plus) and have a passion for events, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do · Respond to client inquiries and prepare quotes.
· Work with warehouse teams to keep everything running smoothly.
· Collaborate with local partners to create fantastic event experiences.
· Help drive new business by networking and pitching our services.
· Assist in developing and executing marketing plans to increase local awareness.
· Plan and manage events from start to finish, handling logistics and budgeting.
· Ensure we deliver high-quality services while staying competitive.
· Handle administrative duties, including processing payments and tracking project expenses.
· Juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
What We're Looking For · A few years of experience in the events industry, with a genuine passion for event management.
· Strong organizational skills and a knack for managing projects.
· Great communication skills and attention to detail.
· A self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
