We serve global food companies and regional food companies worldwide. The purpose of the role: To create and implement 3-year, rolling, cross European sales strategies for Foodservice excluding QSR. Responsible for the creation and implementation of the Sales and NBD plans based on the market categories strategies developed by marketing. The focus will be on driving and activating the sales plans within the selected Global and Selected European accounts. These plans will align with Griffith Foods' strategic vision. Essential Responsibilities: Develop a winning (sustainable and differentiating) sales strategy based on market data and product category strategies. Ensure internal alignment within Europe on the Segment Sales strategy, securing required resources and focus, and providing guidance and training to internal commercial teams to achieve objectives. Create current and future business success focused on business performance, measured in top line Gross Sales, Volume, CM, and GM. Monitor the relevant CRM Pipeline, actively identifying and addressing risks and opportunities versus sales objectives. Optimize customer/product portfolio based on recommendations from Product Management & Commercial Insights, delivering specific targets on Retention, Penetration, Acquisition, and Innovation as defined within segment strategies. Drive the execution and commercialization of new value propositions and innovations, acting as co-owner of innovation projects and commercially responsible for the successful launch of innovation projects in the segment. Troubleshoot and identify execution & competency gaps, developing Value-based selling tools and competencies within the sales organization, sharing best practices, and growing commercial sales capability within the segment. Liaise and coordinate with the Global Segment Leaders and actively participate in Global segment initiatives. Evaluate product and service marketability in terms of customers' needs. Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition. Manage administrative/operational effectiveness functions including S&OP, information requests, regulatory requests, legal requests, BORs, competitive intelligence, results tracking and analysis, pipeline management, and sales reports. Education: Masters, preferably in a commercial/marketing discipline. Experience: 10+ years' experience in a similar role. Proven experience in a similar sales role. Language: English required, other EU languages preferred. Skills & Capabilities: In-depth knowledge of the food industry, segment, and market characteristics and trends. Proactive mindset, able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
