Our ideal Field Service Engineer will:
You will have proven experience working with high-value production devices and be able to handle the pressure that goes hand in hand with 24/7 production environments.
You will have experience working with similar imaging/exposure/print inspection devices and be familiar with printing processes.
Your main activities will be to perform Maintenance, Service, and Installation visits at customer sites, mainly in Spain, but potentially in Europe as well.
In addition, you will also perform trainings to customers in their premises and in our Vision Center in Gent (Belgium).
In your role at Esko, you will: Be responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting/repair of AVT Hardware.Instruct the customer about the day-to-day use and maintenance of their Esko hardware and front end/user interface software.Install and configure front end/user interface software.Work in close collaboration with the regional Service manager, Sales, global support, hardware support, and customer support teams to quickly resolve any issues on site.Submit detailed service visit reports and facilitate spare part requests/returns.Demonstrate excellent logical fault-finding skills.Be confident installing/configuring front end software and computer operating systems.Have a good understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings.Be detail/process driven and highly prepared.Be service-oriented, a team player who seeks feedback to continuously improve performance.Be fearless, independent, confident, and willing to immerse themselves in unfamiliar situations.Go above and beyond to deliver excellent levels of customer satisfaction.Exhibit excellent reactivity, dynamism, tenacity, autonomy, and motivational skills.Enjoy traveling in the country or in Europe. Your Education and/or Background Experience will have: Electrical/electronic engineering qualification or a college diploma.Experience as a field service engineer.Experience in troubleshooting and responding to customers' concerns.Good level of mechanical exposure/experience.Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.Strong time management skills.Decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills.Ability to multitask activities with shifting priorities.Able to work productively in a pressured environment.Experience and exposure working with similar imaging/exposure devices.Good language skills; local language and English; other European languages are a plus.
