Qualifications
An academic background in Finance, Economics, Engineering is desired.
Previous experience in Sustainable Finance, either in an ESG Agency, Investment bank or Asset Manager is desirable.
English is necessary; Spanish or any other language is highly valuable.
Understanding of sustainable finance, green bonds, environmental standards and regulatory frameworks (ICMA Green, Social, Sustainability and Sustainability-Linked Bond Principles, Climate Bond Initiative, EU GB Standards, EU Taxonomy).
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Strong communication skills to build relationships with issuers, investors, and internally to partner teams.
Solid professional writing skills.

This position will require the candidate to have a valid Mifid certification. In case the candidate is not certified, they will have to obtain the pertaining certification upon the incorporation to the role.
Overview
The team is responsible for advising in Structuring/Origination of ESG labeled bonds for public sector, financial institutions and corporate issuers assessing on the optimal framework and issue structure.
Focus on understanding and monitoring ESG market trends, new regulation and market standards.
Support senior team with presentation and engagement materials for issuers, investors and other stakeholders relevant to the market.
Liaise with internal Sustainability Teams and keeping internal data updated and available.
Participate in meetings with Clients in coordination with Coverage, DCM and other product teams as appropriate.
