A better future?Job Overview The Engineering Product Manager works at a scaled level and liaises with the customer to set the product roadmap. In addition, he is the first point of contact for schedule changes. Reporting to our customer's Chief Project Engineer, the main objectives will be to:Lead the Project Engineering for Projects on Awarded Products (Core electronics) through development, launch, and current production.Develop and deliver cost-competitive designs on time, budget, quality target, meeting the customer requirements (Flawless Product Development and Launch).Responsibilities Technical customer interface mainly for the European market.Project engineering budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure control (resources, expenditure, and CAPEX).Organization and management of engineering teams worldwide (HW, SW, systems, electro-mech., security, cyber security, testing, etc.) according to development needs, ensuring technical outputs and execution.Lead and follow-up engineer meetings, both internally (Lear) and externally (Customer).Maintain, review, and execute a list of Engineering open issues.Lead BOM and component cost overview to support achievement of product competitiveness goals / CTO plans / cost of material / MTS / Design to cost.Lead technical evaluation of product changes (ECR, PCR, DFC, DFM...).Manage engineering risks that could affect project milestones.Actively participate in process and continuous improvement initiatives.Support/monitor implementation dashboards including KPIs, control charts per project.Requirements Degree in electronics, telecommunications, or industrial engineering.Technical and managerial skills/experience in the automotive sector.#J-18808-Ljbffr
