Remote: Trabajo híbridoJob DescriptionWe are currently recruiting a Junior Engineer with experience in hydraulics and drainage design, to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects. Our clients work for private and public sector and include long-term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering water designs for many years, throughout the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand among others.You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation and Water projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team for Enterprise Capabilities.Responsibilities:Works on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC, with work being reviewed by senior or experienced engineers.Works on routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.Performs hydraulics and drainage engineering calculations with supervision.Performs a self-check of work products prior to submitting to others and participates in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff.Can set standards and procedures for CAD and modelling works. Open to do some designing work when required.Assigns and coordinates tasks to other technical or administrative staff, mainly related to drafting or hydraulic modelling.Provides guidance to entry-level engineers.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Experience working on hydraulics and drainage designs (+2 years) and clear appetite to develop a technical career in the water field.Proficiency in CAD (2D and 3D) software (Autodesk and Bentley packages, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, etc.).Working experience in some of the hydraulics and hydrology software packages (HEC-RAS/HMS, SWMM, Epanet, Bentley and Innovyze packages, 12D, etc.) is well considered.Fluent in English (oral and written).Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor or Master degree in Civil, Environmental or Water Engineering or related field.About AECOMAECOM is the world's trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
