.Combat Aircraft Production Support EngineerApply locations: Getafe AreaTime Type: Full timePosted on: Posted 2 Days AgoTime left to apply: End Date: October 25, 2024 (18 days left to apply)Job Requisition ID: JR10252439Job Description:A new position as Combat Aircraft Production Support Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid).The Combat Aircraft Production Support Engineer will be responsible for planning and managing on time, cost & quality components and equipment for the RHW Assembly Line of the Eurofighter programme.The Combat Aircraft Production Support Engineer will manage workshare parts of the Consortium Eurofighter and act as the Focal Point of production support for Airbus DS SPAIN for EF GMBH working groups and EPCs of the Consortium.The Combat Aircraft Production Support Engineer will lead internal improvement projects for the Combat Production Support area.RESPONSIBILITIES:Management of new equipment deliveries, repairs, loans, recalls, and upgrades with EDRs/EPCs.Management of equipment required in the shop floor/Support to Production, attending Export Control criteria.Management of equipment blockages at the reception area. Follow-up and boost actions.Management of EF Systems PANAVIA (EMS/PDT/SMIS) and corporate internal systems (SAP, SIGE, CMS).Delivery strategy and follow-up for structural parts of the EF workshare.Missing Parts/Equipment report.Participation in Eurofighter/EPCs telecons/meetings.Agility to anticipate risks and define corrective actions.Lead process improvement projects and new ways of working for the Combat Production Support area.All these activities are in line with the Airbus Leadership Model and will contribute to increasing Airbus profitability.SKILLS:We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.At least 3 years of experience in Planning and Production Control or similar positions.Ability to work in high demanding and international environments. Priorities set-up.Networking enabler.
