Your role at Baxter: As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for performing service activity on electromechanical medical devices as well as on connectivity and digital systems as defined by the service requirements and customer contractual agreements in the Southern region of Spain.
You will build strong relationships with your clients and perform sales support activities on defined service offering within your geographical area of responsibility.
What are your responsibilities?
Install, service, maintain, upgrade or execute Field Corrective Actions on electromechanical medical devices as per defined service requirements and customer contractual agreements in the defined area of responsibility.
Install, service, maintain, upgrade or execute Field Corrective Actions on connectivity devices and digital systems as per defined service requirements and customer contractual agreements in the defined area of responsibility.
Establish, maintain communication & partnership with customers, team members and business contacts.
Ensure compliance to all applicable service and quality requirements.
Report all relevant service activity in the service systems and applicable datasheets, to ensure updated and accurate service data.
Provide customer telephone support (if necessary).
Deliver user training to customers.
Facilitate/ensure development of service packages to defined accounts supporting achievements of the area sales targets.
Support customer demos.
Manage assigned car stock, spare parts and assets (instruments, tools), as per storage requirements and instructions.
Ensure manual replacement orders are performed timely and on purpose.
Good knowledge of connectivity systems and informatic communication systems.
We are presently seeking people who have: A professional degree or FP2 and IT knowledge or relevant experience in medical devices or electro mechanics.
Min 1 year of experience as a service engineer in electromechanical medical devices.
Principles of electronics, electro-mechanics, mechanics, EDS protection/requirements, Medical Device Directive.
Ability to prioritize and communicate effectively.
Strong customer facing and commercial skills.
The ability to work in a fast-paced challenging environment.
Fluency in Spanish and an Intermediate level of English (written & spoken).
