The Role
The Straumann Group is growing, and we are looking for a forward-looking Talent Acquisition Leader to enable our growth ambitions.

As the Regional Talent Acquisition Leader (Sales & Commercial), you would lead recruiting and a team of 5+ Talent Acquisition professionals across EMEA, consulting with the business to support active hiring and pipelining for future capability needs.
This is a complex region with multiple languages in different stages of HR/TA model evolution.
You will juggle complex business stakeholders and coach the business and HR leadership to support their understanding of how our Talent Acquisition model and services are evolving in line with our HR operating model.
You will be accountable for recruitment excellence in the region, monitoring and pushing for consistent service delivery and doing your part to achieve internal targets such as 50% female hiring for leadership roles and 50% internal hiring.You will partner closely with the Regional Head of Sales, Country Managers, and HR Leadership team members to design proactive talent sourcing and hiring initiatives to meet business growth objectives.You and your team would be accountable for approximately 400+ hires per annum across Europe, Middle East, and Africa with a focus on Sales, Commercial, and Corporate functions.You would personally lead Executive hiring projects for selected senior regional roles, proactively sourcing, engaging, and selecting executive talents.You will liaise with the Regional Head of Grow (Talent, L&D), driving initiatives that facilitate internal moves for senior/critical roles.Where there are gaps in internal succession, you will develop external pipelines to supplement the existing talent bench.You will work with the business to consider if there is a need for early career hiring initiatives.You would act as a guardian of Sales hiring standards in the region, proactively removing bias from the process, and driving manager capability and accountability.This will include involvement in a global project to define and deploy the Sales profile of the future and hiring practices to select them.You will lead the deployment of the Employer Brand in the region, partnering with local communications/marketing teams to support brand awareness amongst our target talents.You will be part of the "Global Join Leadership team" at a time when the Global Talent Acquisition organization is going through transformation.You would be a "flag bearer" of the transformation in EMEA - supporting implementation, process mapping, driving model adoption, compliance, re-mapping roles and responsibilities, encouraging new TA service deliverables (pipelining, direct sourcing, employer branding), hiring manager training/brand ambassadorship, etc.Joining in a time of transformation means that we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit—someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and can sell ideas and seek investment into new concepts and ways of working.In this role, there would be infrequent travel across EMEA, particularly to sites in Switzerland/Basel (HQ), Germany, France, and Turkey.

- Act as a pioneer leveraging the best of internal practices but also challenging the status quo and offering new solutions.
Challenge the business to step outside the norm.
- Lead the EMEA Talent Acquisition team to develop the capacity and capability to move the team from recruitment administration to talent acquisition excellence.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills to support the team deliver their day-to-day objectives whilst also carving out time for higher value project work.
- Confidence with recruitment technology (ATS, CRM, internal talent data, etc.)
to support new tech adoption.
