ELT Sales Consultant - SpainWe are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Sales Consultant based in Barcelona, Spain with a passion for English Language Teaching (ELT) to represent our products across the regions of Catalunya, Basque Country, La Rioja and Cantabria.
In this role, you will manage and grow relationships with educational institutions, language schools, bookstores, and other relevant clients, aiming to drive product adoption and meet sales targets in the assigned territory.
This role combines strategic territory planning with hands-on customer engagement and requires a deep understanding of the ELT industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Account Management & Sales Growth: Develop and execute a regional sales plan to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with schools, universities, language centers, bookstores, and distributors within the assigned territory.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the existing client base by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate ELT solutions.Client Support & Product Promotion: Conduct presentations, workshops, and product demos at client locations and education events to promote the company's ELT products and resources.
Offer guidance and support to clients on curriculum alignment, product usage, and implementation of ELT resources.
Attend relevant education fairs, conferences, and professional events to network, generate leads, and showcase product offerings.Market Research & Territory Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed of competitive offerings, regional educational trends, and customer feedback.
Analyse territory performance, report on market conditions, and adjust sales strategies to meet evolving client and market needs.
Provide insights to the product development and marketing teams based on customer feedback and market trends.Administrative & Reporting Duties: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress in CRM systems.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, territory conditions, and client feedback.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Customer Support, and Product Development, to coordinate campaigns, share insights, and align on goals.Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Languages, Business, or related field preferred.Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in educational publishing, ELT, or related industry.
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and drive sales.
Lengthy experience of teaching in a variety of ELT classrooms for both younger learners and adults desired but not essential.
Experience of teacher training design and delivery would be advantageous.Skills: Strong understanding of ELT products, curriculum standards, and teaching methodologies.
Excellent presentation and communication skills in Spanish and English.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple clients and priorities.
