Mission

- Carry out the research tasks of a new and specific project in the field of assignment.

Functions to be developed

- Follow the activities proposed within the ATRIUM international project.

- Perform simulations of the proposed experiments with the thermo-hydraulic code RELAP5.

- Apply inverse uncertainty inference methods.

- Apply direct uncertainty propagation methods (BEPU)

Requirements

Research Field: Engineering » Nuclear Engineering
Education Level: Master's Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

Knowledge
- Nuclear safety.
- Fluid mechanics, especially in mass and heat transfer.
- Mathematics and statistics.
- Data analysis
- Spoken, read, and written Catalan, Spanish, and English.

Technical skills
- Programming: Python, Matlab, Fortran, or similar.
- Unix and Linux systems, bash script systems, or similar.

Specific Requirements

Organization Skills
- Work in a team

Functional Skills
- Communication skills.

Professional experience
- Experience in functions similar to those described, specifically in the development of research activities, both in the university and industrial environment, will be valued.
