Electrical Project Engineer SrJob PurposeMain AccountabilitiesSupport and report to the Electrical & Automation Engineering Manager for coordination, supervision and management for the development and deliver for construction, the basic and detailed electrical engineering, as well as the follow up of the schedules, which shall be completed according to the master schedule and detect and support to correct any deviations both in time and cost manner that may occur during thought all the process.Manage the purchase of any kind of electrical equipment for the project and participate in the project startup up to stabilization and formal closure, side by side and well-coordinated with the other disciplines project team.Active participation and involvement in projects through the preliminary execution of proposals for equipment sizing calculations, main and distribution substations, and single line diagrams and any other electrical engineering necessities arisen during any phase of the project.Review / Create calculations for electrical and automation equipment and materials.Support the projects construction team during project execution, startup and commissioning stages, providing immediate and effective solutions in order to ensure cost, quality, and execution time. As well as active participation during the startup and commissioning of the project in the electrical discipline mainly.Participate in the evaluation of global Electrical & Automation installation technologies and equipment suppliers in order to keep up to date the Company standards. Ensuring the most competitive cost and quality (like: Grounding, lightning, lighting, wirings, motors, transformers, switchgears, MCC, field devices, etc.).Verify the compliance of local, international and Company codes, standards and design criteria and specifications with the designers and engineering firms, through monitoring and assistance.Review all the information, drafts and certified engineering deliverables from the electrical and instrumentation equipment suppliers.Request / Field survey any necessary information of the group plants or its subsidiaries, to give continuity to the projects.Education and ExperienceLevel of Education: Bachelor (degree), Master, Others Specify: Preferably Degree in Electrical Engineering and or Master in Industrial Engineering.Area of Study: Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Sciences.Knowledge of PC Programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Others Specify: CAD, AutoCAD general knowledge, Power System Analysis software like Easy Power preferably.Experience> =1 year (Preferably) Cement and/or mining related projects/equipment experience > =10 years Electrical Project Engineer related to industrial plants and projects. > = 2 years Electrical Project Engineer at site related to industrial plants.Other requirementsPreferably general knowledge of cement, ready-mix and aggregate industry related equipment and installations. Otherwise, general knowledge in any Industrial Process is a must.General knowledge of engineering and projects process development.Good knowledge on power system analysis (power flow, SC, coordination, arc flash).Good knowledge on medium and low voltage installations and the related standards, on wiring practices and code requirements.Industrial facilities field installation and start up knowledge.Good knowledge on electrical equipment selection, like high and medium voltage switchgears, relays, breakers, current and voltage instrumentation, power transformers, LV distribution panels and breakers, MCCs, lightning panel and transformers, etc.
