Mission The mission of this position is to support the R&D department. The R&D department is responsible for developing fragrance technology. The trainee will support the R&D activities related to fragrance microencapsulation, fragrances that counteract malodours, and natural raw materials. The aim of his/her work will be to help understand the performance of different fragrances from a chemical point of view in order to improve the quality of our perfumes.
Functions Prepare samples of products with microcapsules: Dissolve capsule slurries in homecare products and carry out washes using washing machines.Help to manage product stabilities and organize sensory evaluations: Samples used in washes are kept and aged under different conditions. Then, at prescribed intervals, the samples are evaluated (smelt by creative and technical teams).Carry out basic experiments and characterizations: Microcapsule slurries need to be characterized (pH, viscosity, free fragrance, type of polymer, particle size, etc).Educational Background required Currently studying a degree or master in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar.Experience required No experience required; this could be your first internship related to your studies, but it will be a plus if you have any other work/research experience before.IT skills: Office package.Languages and minimum level required Intermediate level of EnglishSpanish Fluent.What do we offer? 720 euros gross per month30 hours per weekMonday to Friday from 08h00 to 14h00 or from 09h00 to 15h00.6 months agreement with the study center + 6 months if both parties agree. Ideally, the trainee will complete a one-year internship.
