Purpose of the role: This position is responsible for the creation and execution of the MedTech Professional Education (ProfEd) strategy in Spain for healthcare professionals; including the development of learning continuums, designing customized hybrid modes of education to enable access, forging external partnerships, and deploying new technologies and learning strategies that will guarantee the flawless deployment of the medical education strategies & concepts developed in collaboration with the regional team and MedTech teams. The role requires a deep understanding of the clinical educational environment across Spain and regions to understand Professional Education strategy and execute a portfolio of offerings/courses that will advance patient outcomes.
What to expect:
Design & develop customized professional education courses for MedTech business in collaboration with KOLs, business unit leaders, and marketing teams.
Ideate and execute digital professional education strategies in alignment with the broad organizational imperatives.
Design and moderate/facilitate advisory boards and round table meetings with KOLs for shaping the education and training to advance optimal patient outcomes.
Support procedure development of HCPs with appropriate professional education modules.
Implement professional education strategy for HCPs engagement with regard to safe and effective usage of Johnson & Johnson Medical Technologies.
Identify, onboard, and train faculties to support our professional education program.
Development of internal & external communication.
Enable strong collaboration with multiple internal and external partners to assess and leverage innovative training technologies and models to meet professional education strategy objectives.
Contract management of key education suppliers.
Management of overall logistics of educational events.
Comply with applicable statutory regulations and medical association bodies.
Support professional education with innovative simulation and virtual reality programs.
Work closely with specialized institutions to facilitate hands-on training.
Formulate operating guidelines, designing of course brochure and appropriate training materials.
Work closely with medical colleges, academic institutions, medical associations and drive professional education programs.
Responsible for professional education dashboard of franchises.
Work closely with EMEA Professional Education team, integrating Johnson & Johnson Institute EMEA education program with the local education plan.
DRI for AO Foundation in Spain, serving as the main link between AOTrauma Local Council and DePuy Synthes EMEA, contributing to the AOFoundation Education Plan in Spain.
Shaping and implementation of Educational Grants Fellowship Programs across surgical specialties.
Shaping and executing the Indirect Sponsorship program, enabling strong collaboration with Health Care Compliance and following a strategic approach.
Who are we looking for?
To excel in this role, you MUST have seven years' experience in clinical/surgical specialties.
Desirable: Experience in professional Education; in developing and implementing fully integrated learning solutions.
Desirable: Experience in leading businesses, with proven ability to understand business strategy and translate it into education solutions (Professional, Commercial and Marketing Education) that support the company's business goals.
Excellent communication, analytical, conflict management, complex project management, people management and development skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to use digital tools (Learning Management Systems) for training and education.
High technological and business aptitude is required.
Medical ethics and compliance.
Strong ability to embrace innovation and drive new thinking in the rapidly changing Healthcare Environment.
Analytical abilities and solution orientation and proven ability to manage complexity & thrive in uncertain/ambiguous circumstances.
Strong organizational leadership, with ability to inspire and mobilize different business units and functions in a matrix environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
High level of Spanish and English language.
