Amazon is seeking an exceptional AMXL Operations Center Manager who will be part of a start-up group that's defining and building cutting-edge products and service capabilities supporting Amazon's current and future delivery initiatives.

Come join the team and help us make history! As AMXL Operations Center Manager you will be responsible for:
Managing significant operational and service growth across our European operationsImplementing standardized processes and quality for our Amazon two-person / special handling delivery service "AMXL"Key job responsibilities: Create metrics and performance dashboards to measure carrier health and potentialDrive root cause analysisAnalyze and identify potential business opportunitiesEngage with cross-functional teams for implementation of project/program requirementsManage multiple projects simultaneouslyCommunicate at all levels with the ability to present information professionally & concisely with supporting dataSupervise a team of data analystsAbout the team: Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. What sets this service apart from others is the extra level of customer care. Not only do we deliver large items, but we unpack, assemble and install them, and take away old items where needed. With a focus on safety, productivity and innovation, we're changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.
We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day. Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.
Minimum Qualifications: Experience in team managementExperience in program or project managementExperience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teamsExperience delivering cross-functional projectsExperience in supply chainExperience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsExperience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardizationExperience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queriesAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
