The Center for Health & Well-being was created in 2019 with the mission to take a holistic and human approach to developing the skills needed to be our best.
We look to proactively cultivate a caring community with intention to living life with purpose, appreciation, balance and perspective.
Our Center collaborates throughout the IE community to facilitate the opportunities for increased awareness, knowledge and practice of skills to manage the challenges of the day to day and live life fully.
We are looking to incorporate a Program Coordinator to join our team mainly focusing on program delivery and support with the academic and non-academic offering of the Center.
In parallel, the Coordinator will have the chance to get involved with other projects that help achieve the larger objectives of the Center.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities: Coordinates the academic operations of the universal and optional offering of the Center:Work closely with the Associate Directors to ensure the successful delivery of academic courses to the Center's stakeholders (undergraduate, master and executive students).Liaise with program management from IE Schools to ensure students are informed and enrolled in a timely and coordinated manner.Perform functions of program delivery when needed in tasks related to Program Coordination: following up with student and faculty questions about attendance, grading, and other academic queries; managing registrations and grade changes with the Registrar's office.Point of contact for any issues that may come up in the day to day class delivery.Support the Center's faculty, providing training on the relevant educational platforms including Blackboard, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.Support the Associate and Academic Director in the reporting of student progress, course completion and evaluations, and research efforts.Manage the Well-being Center inbox to respond to academic-related queries from IE Depts and students and escalate requests to the Academic and Associate Directors.Supports the internal and external visibility efforts:Support the Associate Director of Communications & Marketing in the organization and promotion of events and non-academic well-being practices.Liaise with student clubs and organizations to enhance event collaborations and synergies (Well-Being Club, Student Government, etc.)Liaise with other relevant departments involved in the event organization (Maintenance, location requests, Campus Life, IT, etc.)Handles expense reporting and administrative work:Handle expense reports and reimbursements.Liaise with the Administration Dept to ensure the timely payment of invoices.Handle occasional travel arrangements for faculty and guests.QualificationsRequirements: Connects with the purpose and mission of the Center for Health & Well-being.Fluency in both English and Spanish is a must.Experience in IE systems (Atenea, Power BI, IE Connects, Qualtrics, Teams) is highly preferred.Customer orientation and excellent communication & interpersonal skills, including the ability to actively listen and demonstrate empathy, in order to act as liaison to students, professors, internal and external stakeholders on questions and comments related to the Center offering.Ability to work on and/or support multiple projects within the same timeframe and under tight deadlines.Extremely organized and detail-oriented.Team player, who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.Flexibility to attend events outside regular working hours and work from our Segovia campus to support Center academic programming and initiatives.Familiarity with IE's diverse and dynamic ecosystem is highly desirable.We know the confidence gap can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates, so please don't hesitate to apply we'd love to hear from you!
