We are now looking for a Dive Supervisor to join our Las Palmas Wärtsilä Underwater services diving team of seven divers. The position offers a full-time opportunity for a permanent position, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs. The location for the position is in Las Palmas, Spain with availability for travel around the other Canary Islands and other countries. What you will be doing In this position, your work will include dive equipment maintenance and being part of the dive team on underwater maintenance and repairs projects. On a typical day, you might be starting with maintenance and/or loading dive equipment to drive to diving projects and end the day driving back to our warehouse. You will have the support of all the members of the dive team and operations office. As Dive Supervisor, your work will focus on these responsibilities: Perform maintenance tasks on company diving and production equipment Lead dive teams as dive supervisor, implementing company safety & diving procedures and policies Prepare and complete dive & project plans for the assigned operations and reports accordingly Be part of our Las Palmas dive team as diver Work safely and be vigilant on safety procedures and environment Get new technical skills and improve existing ones through internal and external courses To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: Fit to dive by hyperbaric doctor certificate Teamwork capability Spanish truck category C valid license (not mandatory but a plus) In this role, some travel is required to work together with other offices on international projects and for specific technical training.
