.THE OPPORTUNITY: Medialab are the UK's leading independent media planning, buying and data agency. Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder, the Director of Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing operational processes that drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness and quality across Medialab to ensure we have best in class and future-facing systems and process that reflects the brilliant work we do for our clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Process/'Systemology': Evaluate existing process within the business, identify gaps and ensure consistent use across Medialab to provide efficiency and scalability. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and identify bottlenecks. Client Operations Efficiency: Work with the Client Managing Directors to ensure client operational efficiency within team and smooth running of recently embedded revised team structure. Work with Finance to make month end billing process more efficient and better use of current media trading/invoicing platform. Medialab Services audit: Review what we offer, identify gaps, and maximize organic growth across channels and services. Contract management: Ensure Scopes of Work and SLAs in practice are reflective of agreements; review contract renewalprocess to ensure a proactive approach to client conversations. AI: Drive change within the business to ensure the efficiencies of AI. Collaborate with internal teams to identify where AI can be best applied, enabling teams to work more efficiently and transform processes. Office Management: Responsible for the Office Manager and ensure a productive and welcoming working environment for our team and clients. Internal systems/Communications: Evaluate existing systems and tools to ensure they meet Medialab's needs. Streamline internal communication platforms to drive efficiency and enhance collaboration. Information Technology: Manage the relationship with our external Master Service Provider to monitor effectiveness, manage Medialab's risk, and oversee information security compliance. Sustainability: Ensure the ESG/Sustainability Lead is driving change within Medialab across both internal emissions and client work. Embed ESG initiatives into operational processes and strategy. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Significant relevant experience in operational leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing process and efficiency. Proactive with the ability to drive change and foresee future needs. Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focusing on continuous improvement. Experience with project management methodologies and tools to drive effective delivery. Commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, identify cost-efficiencies, and maximize resources
