About the role…
Fully integrated planning requires going beyond the internal Supply Chain management. o9, as the market leading planning solution, is at the forefront of driving a close alignment with multi-tier supplier ecosystem to enable real-time collaboration, largely mitigate risks and give an unparalleled level of E2E visibility.
As a Director Industry Solutions supporting the fast growing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) offering, you will be responsible for the management and execution of key consulting projects for o9 Solutions, specifically in the field of Direct Procurement, Multi-Tier Supplier Collaboration and Supplier Risk Management with a direct linkage to Supply Planning and IBP processes.
You will work closely with other departments and business stakeholders such as Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Pre-sales, Product, Leadership and others in a cross-functional manner.
Your primary responsibility is to drive the SRM Go To Market strategy for North America, focusing on leading key Top of Funnel, Middle of the Funnel and Strategic Alliances partnership activities related to the SRM offering.
You oversee all SRM's sales cycles starting at the top of the funnel activities all the way to closure by coaching sales team members and holding funnel priority meetings and act as industry Subject Matter Expert in front of prospective clients driving differentiated messaging and value propositions for implementing the offering.
Your role spans across multiple verticals and will report to Go To Market SRM Lead.
What you'll do for us…
Define and manage the top-of-funnel activities, including:
identifying market opportunities and target markets;
driving the pipeline generation and the lead conversion;
developing thought leadership in SRM & building a competitive landscape POV;
building a library of sales assets (incl. value leakage stories, video content, webinars, whitepapers, blogs, etc.) in collaboration with the larger marketing team;
presenting and positioning o9 SRM at events – webinars, roundtables, conferences etc.;
defining (sub)industry-specific positioning strategies;
executing introduction meetings and discovery workshops.
Support the Sales industries (Consumer Products, Retail and Supply & Industrial Manufacturing) in middle-of-funnel activities by:
defining an account-specific positioning and strategy (both net-new and expansion opportunities);
supporting presales as a SME in sales workshops and tailored software demos execution;
driving prospect education and sales POCs;
supporting the definition and standardization of implementation plans and strategies (together with CMs);
Supporting Global Alliances by:
Establishing strong partnerships with Sis (e.g., Accenture, Genpact, EY etc.) and capability partners (e.g., Resilinc);
enabling partners to position o9 SRM by defining, managing and coordinating joint GTM activities;
managing a smooth partnership process (e.g. forecasting, direct sales cycles collaboration, etc.).
What you'll have…
8+ years of experience with a proven track record of top performance and leadership / consulting experience.
A Bachelor's degree is a must. Master's degree, preferred MBA from top tier University is a benefit.
In depth top tier consulting or industry experience in planning functions within Supply Chain Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Supplier Collaboration and / or Risk Management is a must.
Relevant experience including sales and marketing planning, program management, lead generation, program/campaign development and roll out preferably in business and technology solutions for enterprise software industry.
Ability and experience in understanding market landscape, business priorities and route-to-market to develop and manage marketing plans to deliver on goals for high growth solutions.
Experience in marketing or implementing enterprise application software products and/or services, specifically in SRM, Supply Chain Management, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
A solid conceptual understanding of supply chain transparency, supplier risk management, supplier sustainability performance, and supplier sourcing related to ESG criteria is a plus.
Works effectively in a matrix environment with virtual teams of high-level professionals.
Passionate about creative ideas and bringing customer-centric innovation to marketing programs for superior customer experience and higher impact.
Strong interpersonal & relationship building skills, communication skills, marketing communications programs, and project management experience.
