MISSIONWe are looking for a senior leader to manage our global procurement team (LATAM, Southern Europe, Germany & India) with the mission to support our Group's performance, sustainability, and competitiveness, through the selection of performing, innovative suppliers which have a positive impact on people and the planet.
This role reports to the Global Head of Engineering & Procurement and strongly contributes to the profitable growth of Zelestra as the responsible materials represent a large share of the total spend and provides a growing source of competitive advantages of our product technologies.
Director of Global Procurement leadership guidance for all externally procured direct material across all sites, with global responsibility for strategic plans, supplier engagement, supplier quality, processes & procedures, tools and linkages, terms and conditions.
To focus on procurement and quality of direct material from the external market at an ensuring effect cost and quality; contributes to the reduction of risks in the supply chain through a rigorous supplier management, within the framework of its ethics and corporate social responsibility requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIESTransform the procurement function into a strategic component of the business, ensuring its position as a valued business partner.Define strategic and operational purchasing policies for services and materials, and is responsible for claims management, contract drafting, driving supplier development, and ensuring compliance with regulations.Responsible for leading, developing, documenting, and executing global procurement strategic plan which will drive, cost effective, efficient and quality material and services in support of company's products and solutions.Develop and oversee an effective strategic sourcing and supplier management program with a strong emphasis on quality, cost, supply availability with the supply base. Work with the supply base on innovative approaches and partnerships.Leads complex contract negotiations and manages contractual agreements.Build, develop, and motivate a global procurement team that helps execute strategic plans and potentially grow into future leaders of the company.JOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in the field of supply chain, business, science or engineering. Master's Degree preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.+ 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing.Business management experience preferred.Strong knowledge and experience in dealing in global commodity areas.Knowledge and experience in negotiating with global companies in international settings.Experience leading a high performing global team.Experience developing and managing procurement metrics, dashboards, and reports.Proven skills in Procurement management and strategies.Process excellent communications skills.Strong analytical, financial and technical acumen.Demonstrates excellent presentation skills.Possesses strong leadership skills.Capability to build relationships globally both internally and externally.Availability to travel.WHAT WE OFFERCareer opportunities and professional development in a growing multinational company with a team highly qualified.Permanent contract.Flexible compensation.Full working day.Remote work 2 days a weekHalf working day in August.Zelestra celebrates the diversity of thought and experience that comes from a variety of backgrounds including, but not limited to, gender, age, ethnicity...
