Job Description Developing financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans.Monitoring financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, minimizing the impact of variances.Maximizing return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with the investment community.Managing budget and forecast processes, providing financial direction and assisting in strategic decisions.Reviewing financial reports for ways to reduce costs.Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.Overseeing the company's financial systems and procedures, and recommending improvements where necessary.Managing relationships with partners and investors.Leading and mentoring a team of finance and accounting professionals.Qualifications Proven experience as director of finance or similar role.In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices.Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.An analytical mind with a strategic ability.Excellent organizational and leadership skills.Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus.
