Through our purpose of making the world a better place for children and their families we aim to ensure we have a great workplace as well as ensure we give back to the communities in which we work.Main Purpose of Role:As a strategic leader of the largest region with Hasbro, this role will:Lead DC management, D2C expansion and management, vendor management and transportation management.Manage 3 consolidated freight stations across Asia and a 3PL booking agent across 3 regions.Manage total annual spend of over $50M within Asia Pacific for domestic channel.Enable operational service excellence, and continuously improve third party freight and logistics partnerships.Drive effective communication processes providing increasingly accurate shipment forecasts for internal and external customers to meet required customer requirements.Specific Responsibilities/Tasks:This role will be responsible for developing integrated plans and KPIs to monitor performance and ensuring uninterrupted order supply to meet internal and external customer demands.
It will provide leadership and direction to all strategic Supply Chain initiatives, implement policies, best-practices, compliance reporting and financial tracking across the business.The position will be responsible for directing warehouse operations including transportation, maintenance, and order management according to company policies and procedures.
It analyses existing processes and proposes improvements to control costs and enhance customer satisfaction while delivering logistics solutions and operations for our Asia Pacific Region.The Director of Inbound Logistics will inspire and lead efforts to deliver sound operating results; exceed customer expectations, optimize spend, deliver innovation and build a talented team.1) Strategy/Continuous ImprovementIdentify, pursue, and document cost saving or operational improvement opportunities and initiatives through the global supply chain that can be implemented within the next two years.Establish strategies to improve customer service levels cross the region by establishing proper controls leading to cost effectiveness and providing saving to the organization.Manage our Customer Compliance Program and delivery of performance at the highest levels by maintaining strong relationships with our customers.Set the stage for scalability to serve dynamic and evolving customer requirements.Develop our Logistics strategy for existing and future models to meet current and future needs, including network assessments, processes, and technological needs.Responsible for building a Logistics fulfillment strategy and leading strategic supplier relationships, including cross functional business review meetings, QBRs, tender performance and day-to-day alignment.Analyze, identify, and request support for technology integration that streamlines processes and improves data accuracy.Institute Logistics performance management program, including tracking against logistics metrics/KPIs.Actively and effectively identify and communicate strategic operational gaps to vendors, legal and senior management.2) PartnersChair/participate as an active member of various committees, leads work groups, and cross functional projects.Lead team efforts to develop relationships with strategic suppliers which standardize processes which provide a reliable, responsive, and cost-efficient supply chain which supports Hasbro's commercial business efforts.Serve as a resource to senior leadership in areas related to Fulfillment, Compliance, Transportation and Trade Marketing.Effectively work within a matrixed environment fostering collaborative relationships with various leaders and serve as a role model leader for the organization; display thought leadership and alignment with the Company's strategies and core values.Leverage an existing network of business relationships with vendors, 3PLs, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to achieve optimal logistics solutions that achieve internal and external customer service requirements.Build cross-functional partnerships, leveraging insights from various areas of the business to inform planning, processes, and growing capability for the logistics function.Work with functional leaders at all sites to ensure capacity and productivity to satisfy customer delivery dates.Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address the most important opportunities to positively impact customers performance.Lead collaboration for the development, deployment and implementation of appropriate tools necessary to improve management information systems and their appropriate use for decision making.Provide leadership, and technical guidance to the Global Supply Chain, Procurement and Commercial team.3) FinancialConduct vendor contract negotiations, standardize processes, apply technology, and facilitate organizational change and training programs that maintain or improve customer satisfaction levels while also reducing or maintaining efficient cost structures.Ensure the budgets adhere to the strategic plan and development prospects of the company.Develop key metrics around project success, operations success and business success.4) PeopleProvide leadership and support direct team by developing and empowering team, map out forward-thinking career development plans addressing strategic business needs to position the Asia Pacific team for success while also achieving organizational goals.Build effective teams that apply their skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.Support Asia Pacific team members through engaging and consulting to ensure appropriate prioritization, visibility and ongoing guidance and assistance as needed.Implement policies and procedures that improve recruiting, development and employee engagement.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.10+ years of work experience, ideally in toy and entertainment industry.Had experience in delivering effective strategies.Experience in people management.Strong account management and relationship building skills.Strong interpersonal communication skills allowing effective collaboration with customers, internal Hasbro teams and other 3rd parties.Excellent command of English skills and preferably fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.Proficiency with PC operations including use of SAP and MS office suite.#J-18808-Ljbffr
