Santander Asset Management is looking for an IT&OPs; Operations Manager, based in our Madrid office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As an IT&OPs; Operations Manager, you will ensure the end-to-end operational activities to complete the investment cycle until the NAV is published.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
Global ITOP operational strategy for mutual funds.Coordination of Middle and Back Office teams in their daily processes.Internal governance model management with all local units in order to monitor issues, support, and add value to local units along with Santander Bank.Global model definition to be implemented locally and its follow-up, policies, and process definition.Financial and Planning: Coordination and consolidation of the budgeting process, elaborating and controlling the global budget along with the rest of the units for the operational part.Providers and contracts management: oversight and governance model with the providers definition, implementation, and follow-up.EXPERIENCE
Proven management abilities to lead a new team at a Global level.
Good knowledge of capital markets and financial products.
EDUCATION
University degree in Economics, Engineering, Physics, or Maths.

Highly organized and able to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities under significant time pressures.

Controls the daily workflow of the back office operations and oversees that platforms are working in a desirable way.
Coordinates with all involved parties to ensure on-time delivery of the different operations and processes.
Ensures accurate services' dimensioning and planning.
Helps with specific operation-support related inquiries and reaches out to other departments when needed.
