About the role At bound4blue, we rely heavily on the seamless integration of technology and innovation to drive our development. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and security of our systems.
You will manage and automate the deployment of cutting-edge technologies, enhance our internal network communications, and implement robust security measures. Your contribution will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our eSAIL technology and supporting teams to deliver high-quality solutions at scale.
Responsibilities Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring stable and scalable environments. Automate and streamline CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD to improve efficiency and reduce deployment times. Oversee and maintain our self-hosted servers, ensuring high availability and performance without reliance on commercial solutions. Monitor and optimize internal network communications to ensure stable and secure operations. Collaborate with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, assisting in setup, optimization, and maintenance to support our data infrastructure. Implement and manage security measures for our infrastructure, including isolation strategies. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure smooth and automated deployments of our services and applications. Perform system and application performance monitoring and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. Maintain clear documentation of processes, configurations, and procedures. Advocate for and implement DevOps best practices within the team. Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific discipline, such as engineering. +4 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD, Linux environments, Bash, and Python. Experience in network monitoring and optimization. Knowledge of best practices in security implementation for containerized environments. Hands-on experience with databases, specifically PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including setup, configuration, and optimization. Familiarity with self-hosted servers and infrastructure management. Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Nice to have Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack for centralized logging. Understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation in production environments. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and their deployment in containerized environments.
