ADP is hiring an Instructional Designer In this role, you will focus primarily on applying efficient and agile design approaches to develop innovative, engaging learning solutions, using ADP learning design standards and tools, to meet the learning needs of ADP associates and clients. You will be responsible for completing needs assessments, designing learning programs, creating compelling training content, publishing it on our Learning Management System, and measuring results. You will work with subject matter experts in the organization to build content using modern authoring tools and applying innovative techniques in instructional design. You should have three-plus years of experience in the learning & development field. You have worked independently to design and develop training in various modalities, i.e., eLearning, instructor-led, blended, job aids, and more, and can manage simultaneous projects with deadlines. It would be best to be a continuous learner who focuses on personal development and business process improvement to our design standards.
TASKS: Analysis: Analyse learning needs to ensure that training is developed for the appropriate audiences. Design: Design innovative learning solutions. Engage team members and business partners in the design process to ensure that solution design is flexible and addresses the unique needs of the learners. Demonstrate effective solution design which considers the reality of the work environment that impact how learners can learn and incorporates these factors into the design. Development: Develop engaging learning content using instructional design methodology. Demonstrate that learning was effective by incorporating assessment and quiz elements into the solution. Learning Outcomes: Demonstrate that learning solutions result in the intended business impact and are aligned to the needs and priorities of the business. Effectively assist with the roll-out of classroom solutions to ensure they're delivered in alignment with solution design. Continuous Improvement: Seek to understand and grow your professional knowledge and skill. Maintain an outside-in perspective, stay up-to-date on trends in the learning & development field. Experience working in (virtual) teams EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Experience designing and developing client and staff training in a service-provider environment Instructional design experience, knowledge of adult learning theory Experience working with content authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline & Rise Familiarity of Learning Management Systems Good general education up to university level
