Demand Planning ManagerLocation: Barcelona, SpainRole Overview:As the Demand Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in forecasting demand for our products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our supply chain operations meet customer needs while minimizing costs. You will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, analyzing trends, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our supply chain.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for a wide range of consumer goods products, using both qualitative and quantitative methods.- Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to gather input and ensure alignment on demand planning.- Collaborate with inventory management and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts or excess stock.- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant information to identify patterns and improve forecast accuracy.- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within demand planning and contribute to the development of best practices.- Communicate demand forecasts and insights to key stakeholders, providing clear explanations and addressing any discrepancies.- Utilize demand planning software and tools to create and manage forecasts, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.- Identify potential risks in the demand planning process and propose mitigation strategies.Qualifications:- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or a related role within the consumer goods industry.- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets.- Proficiency in demand planning software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Fluency in English.How to Apply:If you are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a passion for demand planning, we would love to hear from you.
