Job Responsibilities * Licensing and Planning support during decommissioning and dismantling activities for complete nuclear plants and facilities. Support in the dismantling processes and auxiliary systems within decommissioning activities for complete nuclear plants and facilities. Understanding of the radiological characterization, segmentation techniques, in-plant materials lifting, handling, sorting and packaging according to the nuclear requirements. Working with designing and planning of dismantling processes, specifying equipment, writing technical and licensing documentation, estimating costs and durations, and, in field, supervising execution activities. Working on the projects in Europe (mainly in Spain); however, there may be a chance to work for Japan, Korea, and the USA as well. Minimum Requirements (education, years of experience, certifications, etc.) * Education at university level in mechanical engineering. Additional training or specialization in the nuclear field would be valuable. Some experience in nuclear facilities decommissioning processes would be valuable. Robotics and mechatronics knowledge would be a benefit. Good writing and speaking skills in Spanish and English are required; Italian and German would be a benefit. Why Westinghouse?
