Job Title Data Quality Principal Specialist
Job Description Summary The Data Quality Principal Specialist is responsible for the definition and maintenance of a comprehensive data quality management framework ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of the company's data assets. This role involves developing and implementing data quality standards, policies and procedures to uphold the integrity of data across all corporate systems and platforms; working closely with Internal Solution teams and business stakeholders.
This position requires a high level of specialisation and a demonstrated expertise in Data Quality and Data Observation practices.
Job Description Service Delivery Work closely with DTS teams and Business Units to understand data usage and its impact on business processes. Collaborate with application owners, business stakeholders and solution teams to establish the regular monitoring and reporting of data quality based on metrics and benchmarks. Lead regular data quality assessments to evaluate data accuracy, completeness and consistency. Improve data quality, when issues are identified, by performing root cause analysis and coordinating the implementation of corrective actions. Document data quality issues, resolutions, and improvement initiatives in a clear and concise manner. Collaborate with transformation data-related projects to ensure compliance with data quality standards and organisational goals. Promote the data quality framework across the organisation. Working on the adoption of policies and best practices by the different units and stakeholders involved. Service Strategy and Evolution Develop and maintain comprehensive data quality standards, guidelines and policies aligned with the DAMA framework. Assess innovation with a continuous improvement mindset. Reviewing and updating regularly the data quality procedures to adapt them to changing needs and technologies. Team Engagement Provide expertise and guidance on data quality tools, methodologies and best practices. Coach and train team members on data quality principles and the DAMA framework.
