We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data & Analytics Specialistto join our team at Omya'sBarcelonaoffice. The ideal candidate will have extensive Power BI and user experience (UX) design expertise, with a nice-to-have skill set in Power Apps. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining data visualizations and dashboards that enhance our business intelligence capabilities while ensuring an optimal user experience.
Job main responsabilities:Power BI Expertise: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports.Implement best practices for clear data visualization.Collaborate with stakeholders to meet reporting needs.Optimize Power BI solutions for performance.User Experience (UX) Expertise: Conduct user research and testing to improve usability.Work with end-users to refine designs.Power Apps (Nice to Have): Develop custom applications and integrate them with Power BI.Use Power Apps for workflow automation.Experience with data integration from various sources.Optimize solution performance and ensure compliance on Azure.Provide technical leadership and mentorship.Oversee AI model deployment and performance.Manage data warehousing and real-time data streaming.Ensure data quality, security, and privacy.Knowledge, skills and abilities:Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing scalable and efficient solutions on Azure.Extensive knowledge of Azure cloud services, infrastructure, and architecture, with relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer).In-depth understanding of data management principles, data lake-house architecture, and data integration concepts.Experience working in an Agile development environment, with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.Knowledge and experience of DAMA Capabilities and the different disciplines of Data ManagementEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Design, or a related field.3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data visualization, or UX design.Experience:
Proven experience in developing and managing Power BI reports and dashboards.Strong understanding of UX design principles and a track record of creating user-friendly interfaces.Experience with user research, usability testing, and iterative design processes.Familiarity with Power Apps and its integration with Power BI is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.At least 4-8 years of Proven experience as a Data Solution Engineer or similar role, with a focus on implementing solutions on Azure Data Platform.Expertise in data management tools / IT architecture models (Data Warehouse, Data lake, Lakehouse, etc.) What do we offer?
