This is us, using AI to (truly) disrupt an entire industry: Currently, in stealth mode, FounderNest is an AI company born out of Stanford and based in Silicon Valley that helps corporations identify the best fitting external stakeholders (startups, scale-ups, SMEs, research) for their business needs and for any type of engagement (e.g.
investment, M&A, partnership, sales, contracting).
We do that based on our proprietary deep profiling and analytics.
Our product uses multiple data sources and combines metadata and real-time growth signals to deliver highly qualified deal flow to corporations based on specified multi-variant criteria.
Think of Google but without having to search; our product does it for our clients.
The most prominent corporations worldwide from multiple sectors such as pharma, banking, insurance, construction, and many more are already using FounderNest.
Funding-wise, we've raised oversubscribed rounds and are backed by some of the best investors worldwide, including early investors in Paypal, Waze, Palantir, Square, or Pinterest.
What you will do:The goal of FounderNest's Data Analytics team is to facilitate the exploitation of data for all FounderNest stakeholders, including internal teams and final customers.
Until now, we've been covering our most basic needs thanks to our Ops team and we're now at a point in which we need someone dedicated to it full-time.
You'll be the first hire on the team!
You can expect to work hand-in-hand with our Engineering and Data Science teams and to collaborate with teams such as Product, Operations, and Business.
As a startup, things will surely evolve but we have some degree of certainty on the areas you will work on:
Propose and lead the implementation of business and product analytics metrics in our BI tools.Support any internal stakeholder with data exploitation for business and product analytics.Lead efforts to promote basic data analytics knowledge across teams.Lead the execution of data exploitation to generate content for FounderNest newsletters.Identify FounderNest's most pressing Data Analytics needs and lead efforts to address them.Help build the Data Analytics team; as the first member of the team, you will play a key role and can potentially end up leading the team. What you will bring:At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Sr. Data Analyst.Preferably at a high-growth startup or tech company.Proficient in writing and understanding complex SQL and working with large data sets.Knowledge of Python and/or R is a plus.Working knowledge of business intelligence tools (Metabase, Tableau, Power BI).
