We now have the opportunity for a Data Analytics Engineer to join the Technology HUB in Madrid, in the Data Analytics area.
As a Data Analytic Engineer, you will join a domain, being responsible for ML and AI projects, MLOPs platform as well as support to Data Scientists located in Business areas.
You will work closely,
in an agile way, with the rest of the team and stakeholders from group departments, including data engineers and business analysts.
Your primary goal will be to gather needs from business, understand their requests, develop solutions and review and explain these solutions to the stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities :
Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into clear and concise product requirements.
Develop new requests and data models. May include developing Kafka connectors in Python, data pipelines, etc.
Give support to Data Scientists in their developments, helping them to work in the MLOPs platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts, to define and deliver data products.
Encourage effective communication and collaboration between team members to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
Apply Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to manage the product development lifecycle. Break down work into manageable tasks, facilitate sprint planning, monitor progress, and adjust priorities as necessary.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, such as business units, and other product owners. Provide regular updates on product status, solicit feedback, and manage expectations.
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data products. Collaborate with data governance and compliance teams to address data privacy and security requirements.
Take part on the governance by key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of data products.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science / engineering, telco engineering, mathematics or data science
At least 1-2 years of provable experience in Data & Analytics, mostly in the ML or AI area
Strong understanding of data management concepts, data pipelines, and data modelling.
Strong experience with SQL
Knowledge about Devops practices
Previous experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM and Kanban)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Experience working with data visualization tools, data analysis techniques, and statistical concepts.
High level of English (minimum B2)
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical background. Machine Learning concepts.
Snowflake is a plus
Cloud Computing / Platform Services, . AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
Experience in international projects.
Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.
Knowledge of data mesh.
