DATA ANALYST Description of the company who hires: German multinational, leader in the auxiliary automotive sector: tire distribution and logistics.
Work description: As Program Data Analyst, you will be a major contributor in building a "single source of truth", customer-centric vehicle data hub.
During the project phase, you will be responsible for understanding the use cases and their needs in terms of data.
You will build a vision foreseeing how the stakeholder use cases can be served and translate the vision into requirements.
Once the project is successfully completed, you will be our expert in developing innovative and tailored analytics and BI solutions.
You will help us "make use of the data" to predict future trends and identify new businesses based on big data.
Responsibilities: Understanding and translating the business requirements and needs. Analyzing how we can come to the final answer and define required data. Design and implementation of analytical solutions in close collaboration with Business, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and IT. Understanding data and translating analysis into intelligence. Support our Program Management team and other stakeholders in the "Strategy, Analytics and Marketing (SAM)" area taking data-driven decisions and planning. Developing recurring intelligence needs into use cases using frontend platforms such as PowerBI and/or Tableau. Required skills/experience/mindset: University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or comparable qualification. 3 years of professional experience as a data analyst or scientist, preferably in automotive or comparable industry. Profound knowledge in business intelligence dashboarding solutions and platforms (e.g.
Power BI). Advanced knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets. Strong analytical skills and data affinity, ability to translate data into value-adding storylines. Advanced English language skills (written and spoken). Strong attention to detail, thorough and accurate in work performance. Problem-solving skills and good time management. Excellent communication skills and capability to present technological concepts coherently to the business as well as employees of the IT units. Keen motivation for ownership.
